Antagonist: Captain Torres

In a barber shot, eerie atmosphere and taking place in the modern day.
Type of Conflict: Man Vs. Himself.
Describe the main conflict: Despite the fact Captain Torres has done so many terrible things to the barber he can’t decide if he will bring himself to killing him.
Describe the Climax of the Story: The climax is when the barber is contemplating killing him but realizes he doesn’t want to take the blame, so he doesn’t.
How does the Protagonist change over the course of the story? The protagonist once felt anger and hate towards Torres but later let him live and was proud of his mature act. This left him happy in the end.
Describe the relationship between the title and the theme.
The title is “Just lather that’s all” and that’s what the barber decided to do in the end. Instead of killing the man he just proceeded with his job and just lathered him up, that’s all.
How does the main conflict help to illustrate the theme?
Instead of being a murder he decided to stay in the position he was in and continue his life style in cutting hair and making others happy by doing so.
How does the climax help to illustrate the theme? During the climax the barber is forced to make the decision whether or not to kill the Captain, which is the theme of the story.
